“Days” is a documentary project of a particular period of my life: it is about a time in which I spent more than two months at home with my grandma.

I had never had the chance to spend so much time with her. Nonna Vincenza has always lived in Milazzo, Sicily, while
I live in Ligury, so, over the years, I had hardly spent more than a couple of weeks with her in the summer.
 
She came to stay with us at the beginning of December, when she was 92. I was at home looking for a job and she kept me company.

I took this opportunity to tell her everyday life, our everyday life, her thoughts, her gestures, her memories, her peculiarities. I wrote a sort of diary to remember these moments. I decided to tell it in the way I know best:
through photography.
 
They were particular and strange days, made of ups and downs, but they had to be recorded.
